As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

Local Radius rule: No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license)

Employee Separation Policy : Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Orientation Schedule: Every Monday

RequirementDescription:

• 2 years experience in Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele [required]
• Must be willing to float to ER and ICU if needed [required]
• Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 12 months [required]
• 1st time traveler accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
• Active state license [required]
• EPIC experience [required]
• ACLS [required]
• BLS [required]
• NIHSS [required]

Unit information:

• Drips on unit: Cardiac, Heparin, Insulin, some Titration
• Patient population: All post-surgical and post Cath patients

• References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission [required]
• License verification (must be less than 30 days old) [required]
• Copy of required certifications [preferred]
