Job Description
The Roofing Service Technician plays a critical role within small teams to ensure the safety, functionality, and longevity of roofing systems across various sites. This position involves regular travel and hands-on work with roof inspections, repairs, and maintenance while providing excellent customer service. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the technician contributes effectively to operational success and has opportunities for professional growth and promotion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough roof inspections to assess conditions and identify issues
- Perform roof repair and maintenance tasks with precision and care
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear communication throughout service visits
- Document work performed and report findings to management
- Collaborate within small teams of 1-3 technicians to complete jobs efficiently
- Travel regularly to client sites to deliver services on schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in roofing service
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in roof inspection and repair techniques
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management skills
