Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts with six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.

The Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process for patient care delivery.
Assess patient needs and develop care strategies based on clinical judgment.
Delegate and supervise patient care tasks among nursing personnel.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Maintain clinical competence through ongoing education and training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Registered Nurse license in Arizona.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
At least 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical unit.
Experience with Cerner EMR system is preferred.
