Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned property to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
