Overview Patient Services Representative Job Location: 1012 Railroad Ave Woodmere, NY Job Type: Full-Time (Monday 9am-4pm, Tues 12pm-8pm, Weds 9am-4pm, Thurs 12pm-8pm, Fri 9am-2pm; 35-40 hours per week. - Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service
- Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care
- Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documents
- Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Basic office and customer service skills
- Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required
