Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Start: As soon as possible (ASAP)
• Pay Rate: $65.00-$70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM; rotating weekends, but primarily M-F shifts
• On-Call: Required - minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week schedule; 1 shift will be weekend. M-F post-shift call 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM; weekend call is 12 hours, 6:30 AM-6:30 PM or 6:30 PM-6:30 AM. Call is evenly split between staff and travelers.
• Scheduling: Self-schedule - clinician will be worked into the first scheduling cycle as needed depending on start date since schedule will be posted. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract Operating Room RN position at an Acute Care Hospital (MAGNET!) in Orange, CA. The role requires proficiency in Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics - candidates may be screened if they hold 2 of the 3 skills. The position involves rotating weekends with on-call obligations, and operates within a self-scheduling environment.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience - hard stop requirement
• First-time travelers may be considered with 5 years of experience

Required Skills

• Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics procedural competency required (may screen if 2 of 3 skills)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as described
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Education Requirements

• Active RN License (pending license not accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred

• Total staffed beds: 426
• Scrub color: L&D/OR scrubs provided; RNs wear Royal Blue
• Charting: Epic
• Parking: Free
• Local radius: 50 miles - candidates within 50 miles should contact the recruiter for local rate information
• Block schedule: Open per manager discretion
• RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission
