We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper Assistant to join our office team and help support our accounting and administrative operations.Position Overview The Bookkeeper Assistant will work closely with management and the bookkeeping team to help maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, organize documents, and support day-to-day office accounting tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, comfortable with numbers, and experienced with QuickBooks Online. This is an in-office position and may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate's availability and company needs.Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivableEnter bills, payments, deposits, and other transactions into QuickBooks OnlineHelp reconcile bank and credit card accountsMaintain accurate vendor, customer, and job-related recordsAssist with invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balancesOrganize receipts, statements, invoices, and other financial documentsSupport payroll preparation and time tracking as neededHelp prepare reports for managementCommunicate with vendors, customers, and team members regarding billing or payment questionsPerform general office and administrative duties as assignedMaintain confidentiality of financial and company informationQualifications The ideal candidate will have:Experience with QuickBooks OnlineBasic bookkeeping or accounting knowledgeStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and office softwareStrong communication and problem-solving skillsDependable attendance and a professional attitudePlumbing, construction, service business, or trade industry experience is a plus, but not requiredSchedulePart-time or full-time availableIn-office positionMonday through Friday schedule preferredExact hours can be discussed during the hiring processCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourPlumbing isn't just about leaks, pipes, and gaskets.
