Assistant Program Director, Marketing360The F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC) supports GW Business students and alumni in developing the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to navigate their careers. Through career programming, guidance, employer and alumni engagement, and experiential learning, the Center connects students with opportunities to explore career paths, build skills, and gain experience. Marketing360 is a career development program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in marketing. The program helps students understand the range of career paths available in marketing, build technical and professional skills, and develop relationships with alumni and industry professionals. Programming includes workshops, networking, industry engagement, and experiential learning. The Assistant Program Director, Marketing360 leads the day-to-day management and continued development of the program. The role combines program operations, student-focused communications and engagement, external relationship building, experiential programming, and career guidance. Marketing360 culminates in cross-functional, semester-long pro bono projects that allow students to apply what they have learned to real-world client challenges in a team-based environment.Key Responsibilities Include:Program Management and DevelopmentCollaboration and Relationship BuildingStudent Career AdvisingMinimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in marketing, marketing communications, career development, higher education, program management, or a related field is desired. Demonstrated experience managing programs, projects, events, or other complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Strong fluency with office and productivity technology, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or Canva. Ability to think strategically while operating effectively as an independent contributor and managing day-to-day execution. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with external professionals, employers, alumni, faculty, and other stakeholders. Experience developing and delivering workshops, events, or other student-facing programming. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear and engaging student-focused communications. Experience with career coaching, student advising, talent development, or related areas preferred.
