SIOP & Sourcing Manager (Global Apparel)

Position Overview:As the SIOP & Sourcing Manager at Teton Outfitters, you will lead the demand planning, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), global sourcing, and quality functions that support a diverse portfolio of hard goods and soft goods manufactured across international markets. In this highly visible role, you will align customer demand, inventory investments, sourcing strategies, and supply capabilities to ensure exceptional product availability and supplier performance. You will lead a team of on-site, remote, and international employees and contractors while partnering closely with Product, Development, Finance, Logistics, Distribution, and Sales to deliver results across the business. This is a compelling opportunity to shape the global supply chain strategy behind industry-leading powersports brands, including KLIM and 509, while driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across a passionate and adventure-driven organization.Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the SIOP process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, inventory strategies, sourcing plans, supply capabilities, and business priorities.Create and execute global sourcing and production strategies that improve supplier performance, product availability, cost competitiveness, lead times, and production capacity.Lead and develop a team of on-site, remote, and international employees and contractors across demand planning, sourcing, production, and quality.Analyze supply, demand, inventory, spend, pricing, and operational data using NetSuite, business intelligence tools, and performance dashboards to support forecasting accuracy, inventory productivity, and business decisions.Establish supplier performance metrics and scorecards, hold vendors accountable for service and quality expectations, and address delivery, capacity, and production risks.Negotiate supplier pricing, lead times, delivery terms, contracts, and service expectations while maintaining product quality and supply continuity.Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management processes, documentation, training, reporting, and vendor social compliance programs.Evaluate product specifications, material tolerances, quality data, and customer feedback to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve finished-product quality.Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Logistics, Distribution, and Sales to improve planning, product development, process flows, and operational performance.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods, root cause analysis, Kaizen events, process documentation, and key performance indicators.Actively participate and prepare the organization for an SAP ERP transition in a few years.Desired Competencies:Leadership: You inspire, guide, and empower others to achieve their best by setting clear direction, fostering trust, and creating an environment where people feel supported, motivated, and accountable for delivering results.Data & Analytical Literacy: You interpret data, metrics, or reporting to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure outcomes relevant to your role.Planning & Organization: You manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum of 10 years of supply chain experience in the apparel or consumer products industry, including exposure to overseas contract manufacturing.Minimum of 5 years of experience building, leading, and developing teams.Demonstrated experience leading the SIOP process to balance demand forecasts, inventory investments, and supply capabilities to support service, revenue, and profitability targets.Experience managing global sourcing, overseas production, supplier relationships, and contract manufacturing operations.Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles and their application within a supplier or manufacturing environment.Experience analyzing supply chain and inventory data using enterprise systems and business intelligence tools; NetSuite and/or SAP experience is beneficial.Demonstrated ability to negotiate supplier costs, lead times, terms, contracts, and performance expectations.Ability to travel occasionally, including internationally.Ability to work full-time in Rigby, Idaho (hybrid work structure; Tues, Weds & Thurs in-office), with flexibility to address time-sensitive escalations involving international operations.
