Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Estimator to support construction preconstruction activities, including estimating, bidding, budgeting, procurement, and project planning. The Estimator will work closely with owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to develop accurate and competitive estimates and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed  estimates, budgets, bids, and proposals for prospective construction projects. 
• Perform  quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents. 
• Solicit, review, and evaluate  subcontractor and supplier bids . 
• Coordinate  procurement and bidding activities throughout the preconstruction process. 
• Identify  scope gaps, risks, and cost-saving opportunities . 
• Support  value engineering and constructability reviews . 
• Communicate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with  subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners . 
• Assist with the transition from  preconstruction to construction . 
• Manage multiple estimates, priorities, and deadlines effectively. 
• Support the development of accurate, competitive, and well-planned project solutions. 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in  construction estimating, preconstruction, or a related construction role . 
• Strong knowledge of  construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs . 
• Ability to develop accurate and detailed  cost estimates and project budgets . 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
• Comfortable communicating with  clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams . 
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project requirements. 
• Collaborative, adaptable, and professional approach.

This is an  on-site Estimator position in Reno, NV . The role involves regular coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams throughout the estimating and preconstruction process.
