Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Job TitleEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Food SafetyComply with CS Basic Policies (TRN-0101, TRN-102, TRN-103, TRN-104, TRN-105, TRN-106)Personal SafetyFollow all OSHA requirements for lift truck operationReport all deficiencies to managementTransport all materials to designated areasMove products manually and/or as requiredAble to travel or relocate seasonallyReport all injuries, large or smallDemonstrate attention to detailProvide data reports to managementCommunicate with management and other departmentsMust be able to make independent decisionsLead and develop hourly employees and production teamAble to work overtime and weekends if neededEnsure completion of the production scheduleManage cost considerationsAssist hourly team leads with people management, such as corrective actionsParticipate in evaluations for hourly employeesWilling to work both shifts, overtime, and weekendsAble to work under pressure and within time constraintsWork in a cold, wet environment (34-36°F)Other duties as required by ManagerEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Interpersonal customer service and communication skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailTime management skillsPositive, team-oriented, self-motivatedKnowledge of related state and federal regulation (preferred)Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAble to work independentlyAble to function well in a fast and sometimes stressful environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standardsBilingual in English and SpanishTravel to seasonal location as each season ends
