Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid drivers license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production areas access points parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as required and report unusual conditions hazards or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and patrol documentation in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
