Senior Estate Planning Strategist Culver City, CA | Hybrid | $175,000-$225,000 Base | $250,000-$300,000 TC | 15-20% Travel Job Description Senior Wealth Planning Strategist A growth-oriented wealth-management organization is adding a Senior Wealth Planning Strategist to serve as a trusted technical and strategic resource for advisors and high-net-worth clients. The position offers autonomy, executive visibility, and the opportunity to influence an integrated planning platform spanning estate, tax, retirement, investment, and business-owner strategies. Estate planning will be the role's core area of technical authority. What You’ll Be Doing Partner with advisors and clients to uncover estate, tax, beneficiary, titling, liquidity, and succession-planning opportunities. Evaluate current estate plans and business succession structures, summarize key issues, and flag gaps or inefficiencies. Model planning strategies and interpret financial-planning software outputs for client discussions. Work with external attorneys and professional advisors to move approved strategies toward implementation. Guide business owners through exit, ownership-transfer, and liquidity-transition conversations. Support advisor development through mentoring, training, webinars, and practical planning content. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of sophisticated estate-planning experience serving affluent or high-net-worth clients. JD, Tax LLM, AEP, or CFP credential required. Technical command of trusts, gift and estate taxes, wealth transfer, estate documents, and related tax returns. Consultative ability to explain nuanced planning issues in plain language. Collaborative experience across legal, tax, investment, and financial-planning disciplines. Availability for approximately 15-20% travel; Los Angeles preferred, with remote considered. Preferred Qualifications CEPA or comparable business-exit-planning designation. Hands-on eMoney or similar planning-platform experience.
