Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our Space Protection Programs team. Successful candidate will help lead and manage a range of projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and high‑quality performance. They will work closely with multiple functions and disciplines within the organization, as well as external stakeholders, to drive program success. Specific Tasks Attending weekly meetings to discuss technical issues and schedule, procurements, etc. Driving delivery on schedule and cost of parts, materials, components, and sub‑assemblies. Weekly status chart package supporting programs/management. Basic Qualifications Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivery and execution. Familiarity in project development and execution. Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office. Top Secret clearance required to start. Desired Skills Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience. Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) for procurement. Experience creating, documenting, and executing program processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum master role, and Jira/Agility boards. SAP experience. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. Ability to Work Remotely Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week over five days to condensed schedules that offer additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits. Schedule for this Position 9×80 schedule with every other Friday off. Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont and Washington or Washington DC is \$70,100 – \$123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This information is a general guideline only.
