Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy designed to enhance communication skills, language development, fluency, vocal strength, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team of professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress outside the therapy setting.
• Participate in temporary inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments to ensure a smooth continuum of care throughout the healing process.
• Keep accurate and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist from the state.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
