Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist working with military families at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or an equivalent degree. Completion of a residency or fellowship in psychiatry acceptable to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine. This includes the capacity to maintain a valid DEA licensure permitting the prescription of relevant controlled substances in support of psychiatric practice. Current board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. You must have been continuously employed in the practice of Psychiatry for at least 24 months within the last 36 months.
