Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview The role of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to assist site-level designees in the continuous improvement of the site quality management system and ensure that processes and procedures are developed in line with applicable standards and customer requirements. The QA Specialist serves as a site leader in mentoring and assisting site quality designees in the development of the QMS and as an educator to existing operational personnel on quality management system requirements. The role also supports and assesses the implementation of the Kenco Operating System as it relates to quality assurance. Responsibilities Conduct non‑routine analysis, tests, and inspections under broad supervision. Resolve most questions and problems, recommending necessary changes. Assist in the development of new methods and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement to the QMS and assist sites in implementing improvement projects. Administer corporate internal audit program to ensure compliance with the QMS through training auditors, auditing processes and procedures, and measuring results. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards across multiple sites. Assist start‑up accounts in implementing their QMS and onboard all personnel. Collect and compile statistical quality data, analyze to identify areas for improvement across sites. Perform Kenco Operating System assessments as they relate to quality and mentor site personnel in their Kenco OS journey. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent years of experience (1 year per year of college). 2‑4 years of experience in a quality assurance role; regulatory affairs experience (FDA, DEA, etc.) desired. Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001:2015. Experience as an AIB or GFSI internal auditor. Strategic Agility – Adapt to innovative ideas to support long‑term organizational strategy. Travel Requirements Expected travel of approximately 25% – 50%. Passport not required but recommended.
