This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of mission-critical infrastructure that supports our clients' data center operations. You'll apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex challenges, lead system optimization initiatives, and mentor technical teams while driving operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on cutting-edge data center facilities while advancing your career with a global leader in commercial real estate and facility management.What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like:Oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems specific to data center operations, ensuring optimal performance and uptimeDesign and implement cooling solutions optimized for high-density server environments while analyzing and enhancing airflow management strategiesDevelop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all critical infrastructure, including conducting regular performance analyses of facility mechanical and electrical systemsLead root cause analysis for system failures or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions and system upgrades based on engineering assessmentsPropose and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and evaluate green technologies suitable for data center operationsManage complex data center infrastructure projects, including expansions and upgrades, while collaborating with equipment vendors and service providersMentor and guide a team of facility technicians and engineers while communicating effectively with executive management on infrastructure status and improvement plansLocation: Santa Clara, CAWork Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Must be available for call-in work as required)This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
