The Gypsum Lux Co. is looking for a dependable and motivated Construction Apprentice / Trainee to join our team.
No construction experience is required. We are willing to train the right person from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, work with their hands, and build long-term experience in the construction industry.
What You'll Learn - Metal framing - Drywall installation - Drywall finishing - Insulation - Proper use of construction tools and equipment - Jobsite safety and organization - Professional construction practices
What We're Looking For - Reliable and punctual - Willing to learn and follow instructions - Strong work ethic - Comfortable performing physical construction work - Able to work on your feet and perform the physical duties required for the position - Respectful and professional on jobsites - Able to work as part of a team - Willing to travel to different jobsites as required
Experience: No previous construction experience necessary. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary job. We want someone interested in learning the trade, improving their skills, and growing with our company.
Job Type: Full-time Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour If you're dependable, ready to work, and interested in learning a skilled construction trade, we'd like to hear from you.
