RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day/night rotating shifts (0700-1930 & 1900-0730)
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work in both IMC and ICU units with floating to Medical Surgical and Emergency Department as needed
• Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators/trach, IV non-titratable drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete facility-specific Sitel modules within one week of contract signing
• Labs and drug screen must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions

This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed IMC unit with a daily census of 9 patients, providing comprehensive intermediate care services. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides specialized equipment for complex medical conditions requiring intermediate level monitoring and intervention.
