Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
• Current South Carolina veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in emergency, urgent care, or a fast-paced general practice setting.
• Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills with the ability to manage a variety of urgent and emergent cases.
• Confidence in triage, stabilization, and treatment of sick and injured patients.
• Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic testing, including laboratory results and radiographs.
• Ability to work efficiently, prioritize cases, and make sound medical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent client communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and financial considerations with compassion and clarity.
• Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine.
