About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician Helper to support electrical maintenance and installation activities within an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience assisting licensed electricians in industrial or GMP settings, demonstrates a strong safety-first mindset, and is ready to contribute to a high-performance operations team.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial facility.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical panels, conduits, wiring, motors, sensors, and control devices.
• Pull wire, conduit bending, and assist with panel terminations under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned and document work in the CMMS system.
• Follow all safety protocols including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space, and electrical safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper storage of tools and materials.
• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and turnarounds as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required

• Education: High school diploma or vocational/technical certification in electricity or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrician Helper in an industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Safety: Knowledge and application of LOTO procedures and electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E or equivalent).
• Language: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred

• Certification: OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour General Industry certification.
• Experience: Exposure to GMP/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of PLC panels, VFDs, and instrumentation wiring.

Skills

Technical Skills

• Electrical wiring, conduit installation, and panel support.
• Use of multimeters, meggars, and standard electrician hand tools.
• LOTO / electrical safety compliance.
