Job Summary Seeking a Veterinary Technician for Overnight Shifts! VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our well‑established, multi‑doctor, 24‑hour emergency and general practice in New Windsor, NY. This role includes supporting our critical overnight emergency care services, where timely, skilled intervention is essential to patient outcomes. Candidates should be confident in handling urgent and complex cases, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and committed to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care during overnight shifts when pets and their families need it most. Location & Schedule Location: 789 Little Britain Rd, New Windsor, NY 12553 Schedule: Thursday 8p-8a, Friday 6p-12a, Saturday 8p-8a Compensation Pay range: $27–$36 per hour Responsibilities Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals Overnight care is typically a combination of care for hospitalized pets, triaging pets, the standard ER duties, occasional anesthesia. Please note that this position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Qualifications Must be a licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) and have a strong knowledge base developed from training and experience. Experience handling urgent and complex cases in a fast‑paced environment is essential.
