Job Summary:
Hospice RN position available in a healthcare organization located in Rockport, Maine. This role involves providing patient-centered hospice care within a dedicated team, managing an average caseload with a focus on quality and compassion. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts with on-call responsibilities, requiring experienced staff to support the organization's hospice services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of home health or hospice experience; current BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU patients; familiarity with Epic electronic health record system; skills in PICC line management, trach care, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, Pleurex drains, urinary catheterization, lab draws, UA, and C&S.
• Additional Information: The RN will be managing 14-18 patients based on acuity, with an expectation of 5-6 visits or units per day. Use of agency-provided laptops and phones is required, along with appropriate clinical supplies. Must be able to self-schedule patients and utilize in-home infusion pumps; no ventilators or invasive monitoring involved.
