Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights) Location Towson, MD Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Onsite Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Deliver and oversee the quality of nursing services provided by self and others under their direction. Utilize specialized nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills to assess patient data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of each patient. Care for Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients, including those with stroke diagnoses, as assigned. Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland (license verification must be less than 30 days old). Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience. Minimum 2 years of experience working with stroke patients (must be reflected on resume). Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Willingness to obtain NIHSS Certification, mRs/SIREN Certification, and pass a Basic EKG assessment (score of 85% or higher) within 48 hours of offer. COVID vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and vaccination must be state recorded. Preferred Experience / Skills Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule with no scheduling restrictions; must be willing to work the facility's assigned schedule.
