Job Description

Our organization, a nonprofit acute care hospital with 325 beds located in Northeast Louisiana, is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who possesses surgical OB training. This role is pivotal in expanding our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

Opportunity Highlights

Experience Required: Candidates should have relevant experience in surgical OB, with a requirement of 50 primary C-sections.
Teaching Role: Engage in a teaching capacity within our onsite ACGME Family Medicine Residency Program.
Precepting and Advising: Involve yourself in the education of residents both in clinic settings and during inpatient rounds.
Facility Features: Our hospital is a Level III Trauma Center, offering Level III NICU, Level III OB, and Level II PICU services.
Technology: Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
ICU Capacity: The hospital includes 42 ICU beds, catering to Cardiac, Surgical, and Medical needs.
