Grant Manager

Part-time or Full-time, Potential for Remote Pay Range $30-$35 Per/ Hour Summary Under the supervision of the CEO and Director of Grants and Fiscal Intermediary Services, the Grant Manager works to maintain critical internal grants management systems and support in the identification, development, submission, and management of grant opportunities. The Grant Manager will also provide administrative support to the CEO and Grants team as needed, and support grants compliance on behalf of Metro Solutions and Metro’s various clients. Typical Duties Provides limited administrative and operational support to the Fiscal Intermediary Services Team. Researches and identifies grant opportunities that align with Metro Solutions’ clients, programs, and funding priorities. Shares relevant funding opportunities with appropriate staff and supports internal coordination around potential submissions. Coordinates the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant applications in accordance with funder guidelines and deadlines. Gathers information from staff, clients, and partners to support grant writing, reporting, and budget development. Maintains grant files, calendars, deadlines, award documents, and supporting records to ensure timely and accurate grant management. Supports grant reporting processes, including quarterly, annual, and final reports to funders. Monitors grant compliance requirements and communicates key deadlines, deliverables, and reporting needs to appropriate staff. Assists with the preparation of contracts, agreements, and related documents for vendor and subaward relationships. Attends internal and external meetings as needed and provides follow-up support, notes, or documentation. Supports communication with funders, clients, partners, and subawardees as assigned. Performs other grant-related administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Prior experience in grant administration, nonprofit operations, program coordination, fundraising, or administrative support preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and details at one time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate online platforms. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams, clients, funders, and community partners. Knowledge of grant compliance, budgeting, or fiscal intermediary work is a plus.
