Service Writer Pay - $18 DOE Schedule: Full-Time, 40+ Hours per Week Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and organized Service Writer to join our team. This position serves as a key link between customers, technicians, and parts suppliers to ensure repairs and service work are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a working knowledge of automotive parts and components. Responsibilities Maintain clear communication between customers and technicians. Schedule and dispatch work efficiently to maximize productivity. Prepare estimates for repairs and services. Order necessary parts and materials for scheduled work. Manage inventory and maintain accurate stock levels. Assist customers with parts inquiries and recommendations. Track parts orders and ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of work orders, estimates, and inventory. Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting customer relationships. Support daily operations and assist with additional duties as needed. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. Effective time management and organizational skills. Working knowledge of automotive parts and components required. Experience with inventory management preferred. Parts catalog experience is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
