The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling and welding materials (steel and/or aluminum) according to technical drawings and specifications. This position requires precision, mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Use bandsaws, plasma cutters, and shears to cut materials accurately.
• Operate press brakes and other forming tools to bend and shape materials.
• Set up and use fixtures to weld steel and aluminum components.
• Perform MIG welding on steel parts and assemblies.
• Operate an industrial forklift safely and efficiently.
• Make minor repairs or adjustments to fixtures and tooling.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation; ensure machines are properly cared for.
• Shovel and remove loose materials such as metal shavings and wire clippings.
• Follow all Concast safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of welding experience preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with various welding techniques and fabrication machinery.
• Proficiency in MIG welding for steel materials.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

This role is hands-on and active in a production environment. To be successful, you should be comfortable with:

• Standing, walking, and using your hands throughout most of the shift.
• Lifting or carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds (occasionally heavier with assistance).
• Bending, reaching, and climbing as part of daily production activities.
• Working around machinery and equipment with consistent background noise.
• Working indoors most of the time, with occasional outdoor exposure.
• Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
