Construction Safety Coordinator

Konik is partnering with an electrical contractor seeking a Safety Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in safety. You will oversee safety operations and initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety programs and regulations, and fostering a culture of safety on the work site.
Construction Safety Manager Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.
Perform routine safety inspections and audits of job sites to identify and address potential hazards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and submit safety reports to management and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure adherence to safe work practices.
Provide guidance and support on safety-related matters and promote a proactive safety culture.

Construction Safety Manager Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in construction safety management roles
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and relevant safety regulations; OSHA certification preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills for leading safety meetings and training.
