Parts Manager

We're looking for an experienced Parts Manager to help build and lead our Parts Department at our newest location.

As Parts Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department while working closely with Service and customers to ensure the right parts are available when they're needed. This role will have a direct impact on inventory, profitability, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of the new location.

What You'll Do

• Lead, supervise, and develop Parts Department employees.
• Oversee parts ordering, receiving, stocking, inventory, issuing, shipping, and delivery.
• Build efficient processes and workflows for the new location.
• Partner closely with the Service Department to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support timely repairs.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate parts purchases to achieve competitive costs.
• Monitor pricing, margins, inventory levels, and department performance.
• Maintain inventory controls and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and manage the Parts Department budget and sales goals.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and provide ongoing performance feedback to team members.
• Work directly with customers to address concerns and provide solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and customer service.
• Help establish a positive, collaborative team culture as we build out this new location.

What We're Looking For

• Previous parts management or related leadership experience.
• Experience supervising and developing employees.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and pricing.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with Service and other departments.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with inventory, order processing, and Microsoft Office systems preferred.
