CNC Machinist

Production Machinist (Starlink) - 2nd Shift - Level 4/5 Location: Everett, WA Responsibilities Regularly set up, validate and run product using CNC lathes (Doosan, Mori Seiki, Haas) and mills (Mori Seiki Horizontal, Haas) Program and post one-off R&D product using Mastercam software Must be able to set up and operate manual lathes, mills, hones, grinders and other manual machinery to make aerospace quality parts, tooling, and R&D repairs holding tight tolerances and dimensions. Perform inspection of machined products and document results Assist in other work areas by performing modifications to R&D components Work with hazardous chemicals such as: Acetone, Alcohol, coolant, and oils Prevent and monitor Foreign Object Debris Check and document drawing dimensions using measuring devices Part mark product using provided equipment/tools Maintain orderly and retrievable records of work performed and complete records of test setups, work orders, photos, and procedures Use computer to read and interpret drawings and specifications Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working area (Pick up after oneself. Clean as you go) With assistance determine cause and corrective action through failure analysis in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering and Quality Control Communicate in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, and other associates to resolve job related issues or concerns While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Other tasks/duties/responsibilities as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma, (GED) or equivalent 10+ years experience on CNC lathes and mills Mastercam X9 or newer experience Safety orientated General mechanical knowledge/background Skills Safe use of hand and power tools Ability to follow instruction (oral and written) Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry Ability to read and interpret blueprints Intermediate computer skills Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in process improvement discussions Compensation Pay range hourly: $33.70-$47.58 Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
