Field Marketing Specialist

Bud & Marys is seeking an energetic, highly organized Field Marketing Specialist to bring our

brands to life in the Illinois market. This role will be the face of Bud & Marys in the field,

building strong relationships with dispensary teams, executing retail activations and events,

supporting product launches, and ensuring our brands stand out at the point of sale.

At Bud & Marys, we develop top-tier cannabis products backed by pharmaceutical formulation

techniques. Our portfolioincluding BATCH, become, Nuo, Curated, and TheMyxis focused

on delivering innovative, high-quality cannabis products and memorable consumer experiences.

As our Field Marketing Specialist, youll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to

strengthen brand presence, engage dispensary teams and consumers, and execute marketing

initiatives throughout the market.

Salary

$60000 USD per year

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in field marketing, retail marketing, merchandising, consumer products,

or a similar customer-facing role.

Cannabis, CPG, food & beverage, or other regulated-industry experience preferred.

Experience building relationships with retail teams and executing in-store marketing programs,

activations, or events.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with dispensary

teams, consumers, and internal partners.

Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple events, accounts, deadlines, and

priorities at once.

Creative mindset with the ability to identify new ways to increase brand visibility and

consumer engagement.

Ability to gather feedback from the field and turn observations into actionable

recommendations.

Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with sales and

marketing teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and reporting tools.

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred;

equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

Ability to maintain all required state cannabis certifications, licenses, and/or badging.

Gather field insights on competitors, consumer behavior, retail trends, and customer feedback

and communicate findings to the sales and marketing teams.

Track the performance of events and field marketing initiatives, including participation,

engagement, and sales impact.

Ensure all field marketing activities comply with state cannabis regulations and Bud & Marys

brand standards.

Manage event materials, promotional inventory, merchandise, and other field marketing assets.

Assist with additional marketing initiatives and responsibilities as needed.

Desired Skills

Build strong relationships with dispensary staff, managers, and other key retail partners,

serving as a consistent face of Bud & Marys in the market.

Execute in-store activations, vendor days, consumer events, product launches, and other field

marketing initiatives.

Maintain and improve Bud & Marys presence in dispensaries through merchandising,

displays, point-of-sale materials, and promotional opportunities.

Conduct regular dispensary visits to identify merchandising opportunities, competitive activity,

product placement, and overall brand presence.

Lead budtender education and product training to ensure retail teams understand our brands,

products, and key selling points.

Develop creative budtender incentives, contests, and engagement programs that build brand

loyalty and support sales growth.

Partner closely with the sales team to support priority accounts, product launches, promotions,

and market-specific initiatives.

Coordinate dispensary staff tours, events, and other experiences that strengthen relationships

with Bud & Marys.

Engage directly with consumers at retail and community events to increase brand awareness

and drive product trial and purchase.

Travel & Physical Requirements:

Regular travel throughout the assigned Missouri market for dispensary visits, events,

activations, and content gathering.

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel based on business needs.

Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds of event, merchandising, and promotional

materials.
