An onsite contract opportunity is available for a qualified Audiologist to conduct an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) focused on auditory processing. This unique assignment involves collaborating closely with a school nurse and is designed for a single evaluation to be completed before the end of September.

Your role will make a direct impact on a student’s academic planning while allowing you to put your specialized skills to use within a supportive school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Audiologist License (required)
• Experience in school settings or conducting educational auditory assessments preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in evaluation documentation

Responsibilities:

• Perform a comprehensive auditory processing assessment as part of an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)
• Collaborate with the school nurse and relevant staff to ensure a smooth evaluation process
• Provide detailed, accurate evaluation reports for IEP/504 team consideration
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with district guidelines
• Fulfill evaluation within specified timeline before the end of September
