Staff Attorney

Overview An AM Law 100 firm is seeking a Staff Attorney to join their Litigation practice in the Houston office. They are looking to add a team member with 2-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience preferably in construction, energy or professional liability disputes. The attorney will have the opportunity to be actively involved in cases, manage files, prepare dispositive motions, draft briefs, and assist with oral arguments in both state and federal court. The position is non-partnership track, salaried, and benefits-eligible. You will be reporting directly to the Houston co-managing partner. Responsibilities Support all phases of case management including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. Provide high quality legal research, writing, and analytical support on complex litigation matters. Manage multiple matters simultaneously while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Engage directly with clients and develop a strong understanding of their business objectives on a wide range of disputes.
