JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate and maintain multiple seal validation test benches Author and update safe job & lock out tag out procedures for seal test equipment Manage internal/external validation test requests and support quality/material/design improvement projects Perform/Apply root cause analysis on field returns Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projects Collaborate with system engineering teams, internal and external, to identify/validate optimum sealing system solutions Create and deliver technical reports Research and develop new sealing technologiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BS Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace, Agricultural or metallurgical, advanced physics AND 0-2 years of experienceREQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude Strong problem solving skills Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, system engineering teams, and suppliers Proficiency in Creo or related CAD softwareDESIRED SKILLS:
