Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality production, efficient workflow, and safe operation of equipment throughout the facility.

• Assist with the manufacturing, processing, and handling of steel piling, pipe, and structural products.
• Load and unload steel materials, ensuring proper tagging, staging, and storage.
• Perform quality checks on materials, verifying measurements, specifications, and product integrity.
• Follow production schedules and work orders to meet daily output goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support machine operators and welders with material prep, staging, and workflow needs.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production delays to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.

• Proficiency in using tape measures, hand and power tools.
• Experience in field labor, construction, assembly, and machine operation.

• Experience in steel manufacturing or related industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

The work environment is non-climate controlled and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Occasional extended workdays up to 14 hours may occur based on business needs, though the average workweek is approximately 44 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emerson, GA.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Emerson,GA.
