Sr. Specialist, Program Management Job Code: 36335 | Location: Rochester, New York | Schedule: 9/80 Job Description Responsible for managing the cost, schedule, execution, and technical performance requirements of assigned programs through all phases, from inception to completion. Manages programs/pursuits to help achieve MCC quarterly orders, revenue, OI & cash flow targets. Directs the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements, specifications, operating budget and contractual financial terms/conditions. Works with the sales/customers/dealers to determine/identify needs, requirements and new business opportunities. Directs the functional teams (engineering, operations, administrative, etc) assigned to the program(s) to achieve program(s) objectives. Essential Functions Responsible for managing mid to large, sometimes complex program initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving cross-functional teams. Work is guided by individual annual goals and objectives with some oversight or direction. Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems. Communicates within and outside of the organization which includes customers or vendors. Communicates with PM leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the function or business area. Approximately 10% travel requirement. Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance. Qualifications BS/BA required or equivalent military experience and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills Master’s degree, MBA preferred. Familiarity with Defence and Aerospace industry. PMP Certification, or equivalent, desired. 4 years direct customer interface experience desired. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $92,500 - $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
