Human Resources Generalist

You are a trusted HR partner with strong expertise in employee relations and talent acquisition. You are confident coaching and counseling leaders and employees through complex workplace matters while balancing business needs with a thoughtful, employee-focused approach. You are also passionate about identifying and attracting top talent, building strong candidate relationships, and partnering with leaders to understand and fulfill their hiring needs. You are highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. What You’ll Do: Employee Relations Serve as the day-to-day HR partner to retail teams, building strong relationships with business leaders and providing proactive HR guidance and support. Provide coaching, counseling, and consultation to leaders and employees on employee relations matters, performance management, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns. Lead and support employee relations investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations in partnership with HR leadership, Legal, and Loss Prevention. Support annual performance reviews, mid-year conversations, talent reviews, succession planning, and other talent management initiatives. Partner with Payroll, Total Rewards, Benefits, and other Centers of Expertise to resolve employee inquiries and ensure a seamless employee experience. Support onboarding, background checks, new hire touch bases, new leader assimilation, and temporary employee placement. Manage employee programs and processes, including clothing allowances and immigration/visa coordination. Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend solutions to improve retention and employee engagement. Maintain organizational charts, HR reports, and other workforce data while ensuring HR policies and procedures remain current and compliant. Support companywide HR initiatives, change management, process improvements, training, and special projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Talent Acquisition Partner with business leaders and HR leadership to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for retail positions. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and pre-employment processes. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key retail roles. Support workforce planning and open-to-hire reporting, providing insights and recommendations to business leaders. You’ll Need to Have: 3+ years of progressive HR experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, Talent Acquisition or related HR function Experience in handling employee relations issues and dealing with labor laws Experience with Retail Talent Acquisition Knowledge and practical application of all HR discipline and practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflict.
