HR Manager Human Resources

Our client, a growing multi-entity organization, is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day people operations and serve as a trusted partner to employees, managers, and executive leadership. This individual will strengthen HR infrastructure, manage employee relations and compliance, and help build an engaged, high-performing culture. The position offers significant visibility and potential advancement into a broader HR leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on HR policies, employment practices, workforce planning and sensitive personnel matters.
• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, performance issues and corrective actions with consistency and discretion.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements across multiple entities and locations.
• Identify and mitigate employment-related risks, escalating matters to outside counsel when appropriate.
• Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and total-rewards processes.
• Standardize scalable HR policies, procedures, and practices across affiliated businesses.
• Manage and optimize the HRIS, employee records, workflows, and reporting.
• Lead onboarding, performance-management, employee-development, and offboarding processes.
• Develop employee-engagement, communication, culture, and retention initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong employee-relations, workplace-investigation, and performance-management experience.
• Practical knowledge of employment compliance and risk management; multi-state experience preferred.
• Experience with benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS platforms.
• Experience supporting multiple entities or operating within a shared-services model preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and improve HR policies, processes, and infrastructure.
• Assertive but approachable, with excellent judgment, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Positive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.
