Position Overview

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our innovative imaging team. In this pivotal role, you will utilize top-tier ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic examinations, work closely with a team of medical professionals, and offer reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging procedures.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound scans, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging, explaining procedures with care and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with both radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment and promptly address any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic health system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
