Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for building, wiring, and assembling electrical and industrial components according to engineering specifications. This role ensures high-quality production by following schematics, maintaining safety standards, and completing accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires according to specifications
• Assemble and wire control panels, enclosures, and electrical systems
• Install electrical components onto panel boards and other assemblies
• Perform enclosure modifications as required
• Build cable harnesses and complete product kitting and packaging
• Apply labels and ensure proper identification of components and assemblies
• Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting of completed units
• Follow UL and industry standards where applicable (e.g., UL508A)
• Complete production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and wire processing equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work
• Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 40–50 lbs)
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production setting
• Exposure to tools, machinery, and electrical components
• May require overtime or flexible scheduling based on production needs
