Industrial Project Architect (Northcentral)

Responsibilities Be knowledgeable in technical design concepts, code applications, design management skills, digital technologies, and design workflows for industrial-type facilities. Lead owner/client and internal meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Lead project teams with varied levels of experience to successfully complete and deliver construction documents and intermediate milestone deliverables. Manage and undertake design activities and the production of detailed documents required for construction. Independently coordinate the work of a multidisciplinary team through all phases of a project. Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines. Perform QA/QC and cross discipline technical reviews. Write and edit architectural specifications. Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders. Incorporate agreed-upon changes into project documents. Provide construction observation and contract administration as needed. Conduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with Client Representatives, Project Managers and other disciplines. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Architecture Minimum 5 years’ relevant prior experience in the areas of industrial architecture, such as data centers, water treatment facilities, public utility facilities, operations centers, aerospace, manufacturing, etc. A minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed professional Experience with Bluebeam Revu LEED Accreditation with experience and/or interest in sustainable design Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff Experience facilitating meetings with a range of stakeholders, such as engineers, client, contractors, subcontractors, AHJs, etc. Due to client contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
