Job Summary:
The specialized nursing position is located in Washington, District of Columbia. The role involves providing patient-centered care in the Labor and Delivery department, focusing on maternal and newborn health. The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, competent care to patients experiencing vaginal delivery, C-section, and gynecological surgeries, working primarily during 12-hour daytime shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Washington, District of Columbia
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the District of Columbia, with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Certified in ACLS, NRP, and BLS. Verified Cerner experience is required.
• Additional Information: Must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. Only candidates with postpartum/mother-baby experience will be considered. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and support skills, adhering to patient-centered care principles and Service Excellence standards. The role involves caring for patients undergoing vaginal delivery, cesarean, and gynecological surgeries, aligning with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
