RN - PCU

Stepdown RNWe are seeking a Stepdown RN for a night shift position. This role requires working three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Holiday rotation is mandatory. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The RN will be expected to float within the facility as needed, similar to full-time staff nurses. No on-call duty is required for this role. Required certifications are ACLS and BLS, with NIHSS preferred. The position will include caring for adult and geriatric patients. The daily patient ratio is 1:4. Candidates should have experience with various telemetry and patient management skills. This role may involve managing ventilated patients and administering blood products. All travelers should be prepared to participate in emergency response during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. This position is not open to locals within a 60-mile radius.
