Job Description: Provides mentorship, guidance, and leadership to HR team members, ensuring a high level of performance and professional growth. Serves as the primary HR contact for plant leadership and union representatives. Administers and interprets collective bargaining agreements (CBAs); manage grievances, arbitrations, and contract negotiations. Serves as a trusted advisor and provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures. Serves as site lead in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and ensuring compliance with the terms of the agreement. Leads recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure staffing levels meet production goals. Coaches and supports managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO. Analyzes HR metrics and develop action plans to improve workforce performance and engagement. Manages training and development initiatives to build employee capabilities and support career growth. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. Supports diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the plant. Oversees performance management processes, including performance appraisals and development plans. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related. Master's Degree or HR certification preferred. 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated experience working in a unionized environment and handling labor relations matters. Strong ability to negotiate. In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships with all various levels of the organization. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
