Pay Rate:

• EMT: $900 - $1000 Gross every week
• Paramedic: $1150 - $1250 Gross every week

Number of Positions: 1

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

EMR: Epic

Schedule:  

• Two 12 hour night shifts guaranteed, Thursday and Friday
• 7pm-7am
• Sporadic PRN shifts when needed for other days 

Additional Details:

• Typically 2-5 calls/day
• Can vary and be higher, had 10 yesterday but that's uncommon

REQUIREMENTS

• 911 calls, transfers for Ambulance Service to hospital at University of Iowa, majority low acuity calls. County EMS department
• When not working in ambulance, work as CNA in the Emergency Department helping with patients. 

 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Paramedics need ACLS and PALS

 

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• Iowa state license, EMT/Paramedic is compact
