Job Description: The person hired for the position of Packer will work at our Brownwood, TX site. The Impact You Will Make in this Role: As a Packer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Match materials to orders and accurately pack finished goods in the appropriate containers to meet customer and shipping requirements. Operate label printers and packaging equipment to support efficient and accurate packaging operations. Ensure completed orders are processed and delivered to the shipping department on time to meet shipment schedules. Maintain inventory accuracy for materials relocated for packaging, monitor packaging supply levels, and support overall material organization. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while complying with all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and performing other duties as assigned by leadership. Your Skills and Expertise: To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws. Required: Must possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start). One (1) year of manufacturing, warehouse, production, or similar industrial/labor experience. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including second and third shifts, with potential shift rotations based on operational needs. ***Applicants meeting the basic qualification above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, shipping, or production experience. Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter and review information in company systems. Demonstrated reliability through a stable work history and strong attendance record. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow written and verbal instructions. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as business needs require.
