Overview A law firm seeks an Attorney in Odessa, TX to provide expert legal advice and representation across various legal matters. The role involves analyzing legal issues, drafting and reviewing documents, and advocating for clients in negotiations and court proceedings. The Attorney will collaborate with clients to develop tailored legal strategies, requiring a commitment to ethical standards and clear communication of complex legal concepts. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and motions. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations. Advise clients on legal rights and obligations. Stay current with changes in laws and regulations. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2-6 years of personal injury experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish. Admission to the bar in the relevant U.S. state(s). Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws. Experience in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar in the relevant U.S. state(s). Skills Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills. Analytical skills for interpreting complex laws.
