Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Relevant Engineering Field (Mechanical, Electrical, etc) 3+ Years of experience in equipment engineering in an automated production environment Experience Strong Root Cause Analysis and Equipment Troubleshooting Experience Experience creating and developing Equipment Maintenance Plans Strong ability to Troubleshoot PLC's Nice to Have Skills & Experience PLC Programming Experience with Vision Inspection Systems Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Equipment Engineer to join a growing team supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Industry. The equipment engineer is responsible for analyzing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to track breakdown frequency, uptime, and production performance, while reporting on micro-stops, breakdown maintenance, and yield to develop improvement plans. They design and review production work orders based on PLCs, implement and test new equipment and technology, and collaborate with other departments to enhance process quality.
